Greg Nicotero
Gifted SFX and make-up wizard, who learned his trade under the watchful eye of SFX splatter guru Tom Savini. Nicotero and buddies, Howard Berger and Robert Kurtzman started KNB Efx Group in 1988 and the group has provided eye-popping & jaw dropping special effects for major Hollywood releases including The Green Mile (1999), Vanilla Sky (2001), Sin City (2005) and Land of the Dead (2005).

Has 6 hours of behind-the-scenes video footage he shot while on the set of Evil Dead II (1987).
Loves the movie Jaws (1975), and owns a miniature replica of the Orca, the boat used by Quint, Brodie, and Hooper in the movie.
Started his own effects company, KNB Efx Group Inc., in 1988 with his partners Howard Berger and Robert Kurtzman after the three of them decided to stop working for other people and work for themselves.
His hand can be seen playing Ash's severed, possessed hand in several shots in Evil Dead II (1987).
