Morons from Outer Space is a 1985 comedy/science-fiction film directed by Mike Hodges. It was released in North America on September 20, 1985.

Trivia:

• ‘Mike Hodges’ directed this movie on the condition that the production company Thorn EMI, would finance his script “Mid-Atlantic”, which didn’t get off the ground.
• To receive a PG certificate the film was re-edited by the distributor and cut by around 15 secs by the BBFC to remove sexual and drug-related dialogue. In total 6 minutes 10 secs were edited from the film.
